The Canon imageRUNNER 2270 is a multi-functional printer that scans documents, produces black and white prints and provides on-site storage. This digital imaging system suits small, office workgroups for sharing information and creating documents. The imageRUNNER 2270 features a scanning speed up to 22 images per minute. Optional trays for in-house finishing produce hole-punching, sorting and corner stapling.
Duplexing Automatic Document Feeder-N1
The optional Duplexing Automatic Document Feeder-N1 feeds one- or two-sided sheets to the Image Reader for scanning. Located at the top of the printer, the angled feeder accepts original papers, such as statements up to 11 inches by 17 inches. The feeder has a capacity of 50 sheets of 20 lb. bond or letter paper. The DADF-N1 accepts a maximum paper weight of 13 to 32 lb. bond paper. The feeder measures 8 7/8 inches by 22 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches and weighs 18.7 pounds.
Paper Cassettes
The imageRUNNER 2270 contains dual 550-sheet paper cassettes for a maximum capacity of 1,100 sheets in the main unit. A stack bypass of 50 sheets is also included. The Canon Paper Deck-Q1, an optional paper deck, holds an additional 2,500 sheets of 20 lb. bond paper. The Canon Cassette Feeding Unit-Y2 is a dual 550-sheet cassette that enables the imageRUNNER to process 4,750 sheets maximum.
Optional Trays
Canon's Inner 2-Way Tray-D1 contains two output trays. The upper output tray holds up to 100 letter-size sheets or 50 sheets in other sizes. The lower output tray holds a maximum 250 letter-size sheets or 100 sheets of other sizes. The maximum paper size includes statements up to 11 inches by 17 inches. This optional tray measures 6 inches by 7 inches by 21 1/2 inches and weighs approximately 8 pounds. The Copy Tray-J1 accessory provides a resting place for documents while the user operates the imageRUNNER. This copy tray includes a top tray for up to 150 letter-size sheets and up to 75 sheets of other sizes. The tray measures 4 3/4 inches by 13 5/8 inches by 13 7/8 inches.
Finisher-S1
The optional Finisher-S1 features a tray capacity for up to 1,000 sheets for collate, non-collate or group mode. This internal finisher connects to the left of the imageRUNNER and measures 11 7/8 inches by 18 7/8 inches by 20 1/2 inches. The staple mode positions staples in corners for letter, letter-R and legal paper. The top tray has a capacity of 1,000 sheets per 30 sets of letter-size paper in staple mode. The staple capacity is 50 letter-size sheets up to 20 lb. bond paper. The optional Additional Finisher Tray-B1 adds a tray capacity of 300 sheets for collate or non-collate mode. The Tray-B1 holds 300 sheets per 30 sets per tray in staple mode, or 150 sheets per 30 sets of legal paper 11 inches by 17 inches.
