Connect An Olympus C750 To An Olmypus Bh2 Microscope

Instead of drawing images from your microscope, attach a digital camera.

The BH2 microscope is a research instrument that includes 10x magnification eyepiece with a filed range of twenty millimeters. In addition, it contains halogen lamps and light paths that prevent dirt or dust from entering. With the enhancement of different types of light to this microscope, a digital camera attachment can be useful for research purposes. A digital camera can be mounted to this microscope by using a digital camera microscope attachment. The type of adapter depends on the brand of camera and size of the microscope eyepiece.

Instructions

1. Measure the inside of the diameter of the eyepiece on your Olympus BH2 microscope. Make sure to take measurements in millimeters as you will need this value for the digital camera adapter.

2. Purchase an Olympus C-750 Microscope adapter. Make sure you select the correct measurement for your adapter. The adapters for the Olympus C-750 Digital camera fit a 23 millimeter or 30 millimeter diameter eyetube. The adapter will be able to mount the digital camera directly onto the microscope eyepiece.

3. Take the adapter and attach one end of the adapter to the digital camera eyepiece. Attach the open end to the microscope eyepiece. The adapter will mount the camera directly on the microscope and the camera lens will towards the microscope eyepiece.

4. Turn on the digital camera and the microscope. View a sample under the microscope. If the sample looks good, you can begin taking pictures.
