Make A Video Dvd From A Panasonic Sdrh60 Camcorder

Record video directly onto a DVD.

The Panasonic SDR-H60 is a digital-video camcorder that records audio/video directly onto an internal hard drive. Once captured, the video is stored as individual files, allowing you to directly import the content onto a computer without the aid of a video-editing program. Once the files are on a computer, you can burn the videos onto a blank DVD.

Instructions

1. Plug the USB data cable into the USB port on the side of the Panasonic SDR-H60. Insert the other end of the cable into one of the USB ports on your computer.

2. Power on the camcorder, then choose "Start" and "(My) Computer." Double-click the removable device icon.

3. Click-and-drag the video files from the open window onto the computer. You can import the files to any location on your system.

4. Insert the blank DVD into the disk drive of the computer, then close the "AutoPlay" window that appears on the screen. Launch the DVD-burning program installed on the computer (usually ULead DVD, Nero or Roxio).

5. Select "Video DVD" from the format options and click "Add Files." Select the video file you want to add to the DVD, then click "OK." Once the files have loaded onto the menu, click "Burn" to record the files onto the DVD.
