Learn The Remote Controls For Olevia

Olevia manufactures a large line of state-of-the-art, high-definition televisions. All of these new televisions come equipped with its very own remote control, specially designed to work every aspect of the television. Though with all the buttons on the remote it can sometimes be a little confusing to figure out which button does what, after a little experimentation, you will have a complete grasp on use your Olevia remote control.


Instructions


1. Power on the television by pressing the power button. Depending on the model remote you have it will either by the top button that says "Power" under it, or it will have an icon on the button that is a circle with a line through the top of it.


2. Adjust the volume by pushing the plus or minus volume buttons in the middle of the remote. Next to the volume controls is the mute button. Pressing mute will instantly shut off the volume.


3. Change the channel by either punching in the appropriate number on the keypad, or by pressing the up and down channel buttons in the middle of the remote (to the right of the volume control). Next to the volume is a button marked "last." Pressing this will take you to the very last channel you were at.


4. Change the video setting you are watching by either pressing the "Video," "Comp" or "HDMI" buttons. These are different video in ports you will have on the backside of your television, and pressing these buttons will allow you to watch content playing from devices connected to the TV. If you have a VCR connected to the video port, you will push "Video," and if you have a Blu-Ray player connected to the high-def HDMI port, you will push the "HDMI" button.


5. Press the "Menu" button. From here, you will be able to adjust the brightness of the television (select "brightness" and push the up or down buttons to adjust the level), as well as different audio aspects as well.


6. Adjust the viewing size of your HD television (if you have an Olevia HD TV) by pressing the "Zoom" button. This will toggle through different viewing modes, from normal to a stretched version to a zoomed in version.
