Jabra is a Denmark-based manufacturing company that produces headsets for cell phones. These headsets are wirelessly connected to the device to provide freedom and mobility to the user. Jabra employs Bluetooth capability to connect its headsets to cell phones, which is easily achieved in just a few steps. The process, called pairing, is accomplished by directing the Bluetooth signal from the headset to the phone and authorizing the connection through the cell phone itself.
Instructions
1. Press the button on your headset to turn it on. Wait for the LED to go solid blue to indicate that pairing mode is activated.
2. Turn on your cell phone and open the connectivity setup menu. This is the menu that contains all the settings for wireless, 3G and Bluetooth connections.
3. Open the bluetooth menu with the connectivity settings to begin the search for compatible devices. Wait for the headset to show up under the name JabraBT, followed by the model number of your headset.
4. Select the Jabra headset and enter the four-digit passkey when you are prompted to do so. The passkey is 0000 unless otherwise noted.
