The Polaroid 600 camera provides instant gratification, giving the photographer an immediate print just moments after taking a picture. Using self-developing Polaroid film, the photo is ejected within seconds and after 30 to 60 seconds is visible in full detail and color. Unlike digital cameras, a film pack must be installed through a front compartment door, and must be replaced with a new cartridge after every 10 photographs.
Instructions
1. Extend the built-in flip-up camera flash unit fully upward until it clicks into operational position.
2. Hold the camera so the viewfinder is facing you and with your right index finger press the film cartridge hatch release lever forward. The slider button is on the lower right side of the camera near the front corner. Hold the camera on the sides so the front film cartridge compartment door is able to drop down when pressing the button. Turn the camera around so the lens is aimed toward you.
3. Position a new film pack in front of the film cartridge loading door on the lower-front of the camera with the gray cellophane surface facing upwards and the solid black plastic bar with a white tab facing you. Press the film cartridge into the loading slot until fully inserted and you hear a "click."
4. Close the film loading door and wait for the camera to eject the protective paper blank from the film pack. Remove the white blank from the camera and discard it.
