The HTC Touch Pro smartphone allows users the ability to open and edit PDF documents, send and receive email, listen to music and send text messages directly from their device. Similar to other Android-powered smartphones, it comes with a built-in five-row QWERTY keyboard in addition to its onscreen keyboard. Although the onscreen keyboard is accurate, it can become aggravating if you have large fingers or prefer pressing keys. Therefore, you may opt to disable the onscreen keyboard and use only the QWERTY keyboard.
Instructions
1. Tap the "Messaging" tab on the home screen of your HTC phone.
2. Touch the "New Message" icon located at the top of the messaging application.
