Set Up Windows Mobile Networks To Pcs

If your wireless router connected to your PC is broadcasting a wireless Internet or regular network connection, you can access that connection via your Windows Mobile powered device. This will allow you to share an Internet connection as well as transfer files back and forth between the device and your computer. To set up this connection, you must simply use Windows Mobile's WiFi connectivity features.

Instructions

1. Turn on your Windows Mobile device.

2. Select "Start."

3. Select "Settings."

4. Select the tab that reads "Connections." This will reveal a list of icons. Select the "Connections" icon. From the window that opens as a result of selecting the "Connections" icon, select "Advanced."

5. Choose the "Select Networks" option. Select the name of your PC's wireless network from the list on screen. If you password protected your PC network at the time you set it up, you will need to enter that password now. Select "OK." Your Windows Mobile powered device will now be connected to your PC's network.
