Turn On A Sony Cybershot

The Sony Cybershot is a line of digital cameras that can vary in size and in the quality of picture taken. Some Sony Cybershots have large zoom lenses attached, while others are made to fit in your pocket. However, all of the cameras have a majority of the same features--one of which is how you power on the camera.

Instructions

1. Turn the Sony Cybershot upside down so the bottom of the camera faces you.

2. Remove the small clip covering the battery compartment. Often times, this is where the memory card is housed.

3. Remove the batteries and insert new AA batteries. Note that some Sony Cybershots, due to their size, take different batteries. It is best to double-check with your user's manual before purchasing a specific kind of battery. Place the clip back over the batteries and snap it into place.

4. Push the small "Power" button on the the right side of the Sony Cybershot. In a moment, you will see the LCD screen light up and the camera is now on.
