Instructions








1. Create your access point by going to "Settings," "Connections," "Access Points," "Select or Create New DialISP.net" in your Smartphone menu. Set these parameters: choose DialISP as your connection name or any name you choose; under "Data bearer," select "data call"; the dial up number should be whatever number is used to connect to your ISP, your POP3 username and password; set authentication to "normal," homepage to "none," "data call type" set to "normal" and "maximum speed data" to "automatic."


2. Click the "Advanced Settings" button and choose "IPv4 Settings" to add the IP number that your ISP has given you, "DNS Address" to add the IP number of your ISP, "Proxy Server Address" the IP number of your ISP, and then click the back button to save all of these settings.


3. Configure your incoming mail settings by first choosing "New Mailbox" from your Smartphone Menu, and then select "Standby Menu," "Messages," "Options," "Settings," "Email," "New or ISP Dial-up," then "Connection Settings" and finally "Incoming Mail." Copy all of the settings from your Pop3 account including your username, password, what the name of your incoming mail server is, select the name of your access point, name your mailbox, mailbox type "Pop3." Turn off "Security," set your port to "default," turn "APOP safely logging in" off and then click the back button to save all of these settings.








4. Configure your outgoing mail settings by going through the same set of menu options as in Step 3 except that when you get to "Connection Settings," choose "Outgoing Email." Once there set the following options: your Smartphone email address, your Pop3 username and password. Copy your Pop3 outgoing mail server settings. Use the same "Access Point" as in Step 3, turn off "Security," set your port to "default" and then click your Back button to save these settings to finish.
