Restart your Android phone after each troubleshooting move.
If you are having trouble with the HP iPrint Photo application for Android smartphones, you have several options available to fix the problem. Problems can include not being able to print from your phone to your printer with the app or issues with using the app's software on your computer.
Update Application
Check for updates for the HP iPrint Photo app if it doesn't work on your Android smartphone. Updates are available through the Android Market on your phone. You can view the installed apps by accessing the Market. If an update is available for the HP application, download and install it. Your phone will need to be connected to an active Wi-Fi or cellular data connection. Test the app after the update is complete.
Uninstall/Reinstall
Uninstall and reinstall the HP app if it still doesn't work with your phone. By uninstalling the app, you can possibly remove any installation issues that may be causing the app to fail. Access the Android Market, tap the HP app in the list of downloads, and then tap "Uninstall." After the uninstall completes, you can download the application on your phone again. Installation of the app will automatically begin.
Update Android
Download and install any available updates for your Android system. The HP iPrint Photo application requires that your phone run at least an Android 2.2 or later. You can check the version your phone is running by accessing the settings, and then tapping "About Phone." Updates for your system are also available from the "About Phone" section of your phone. Do not attempt to use the application until your phone's system is completely up-to-date.
Additional Troubleshooting
Ensure your HP printer is turned on if you are having trouble printing to it from the iPrint Photo application. If the printer is on and printing issues persist, ensure the HP ePrint Home and Biz software is installed correctly on your computer. If the software does not work with other products, uninstall and reinstall it. You will need to reconnect your printer to the network once the installation is complete.
