Pair A Polaroid Pogo With A Macbook

The PoGo requires special printer paper to print photos.

The Polaroid PoGo is a portable photo printer that is similar in size to a compact digital camera, and can print high resolution, color photographs. It uses a Bluetooth connection to receive images, and is intended to print photos primarily from a digital camera or cell phone. It can actually print photos from any Bluetooth enabled device, including a MacBook. It uses Mac OS X's built-in functionality to connect, and requires no additional software. Once you have paired the PoGo once, you won't have to do it again to use it next time.

Instructions

1. Press the power button on the bottom edge of the Polaroid PoGo to turn it on and start up the Bluetooth connection.

2. Click the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar of your MacBook, and click "Turn Bluetooth On" if it's not already on. Click the Bluetooth icon again and choose "Set Up Bluetooth Device."

3. Choose the Polaroid PoGo in the "Devices" list, then click "Continue."

4. Wait for the Bluetooth Setup Assistant to say "The pairing attempt was unsuccessful." This is because it is trying to use a default pairing code, but this doesn't work for the PoGo. Click the "Passcode Options" button at the bottom of the window.

5. Click the "Use a Specific Passcode" radio button, and enter the code "6000" in the text field. Click "OK" to submit this new passcode.

6. Wait for the Bluetooth Setup Assistant window to confirm that your PoGo has been paired with your MacBook, then click "Quit." You can now print photos using the "Send File" option in the MacBook's Bluetooth menu in the menu bar.
