Install V Cast Music

VCast is a mobile music software created by the Verizon Wireless phone carrier. VCast is an exclusive feature offered Verizon customers. It gives them the ability to download virtual music files that can be converted and transferred to your computer for high quality listening pleasure. Installing the software is quite simple. Whether you are new to the technological world or proficient, you can install this software in a matter of minutes.








Instructions








1. Place the VCast installation disc in your computer's CD-ROM drive. When your computer detects the disc, VCast installation portal will appear. The first VCast screen will display three prompts you need to follow to complete the installation process.


2. Install the VCast USB Drivers. Click on the first prompt that will be listed to install the USB Drivers. The USB drivers are the software components for VCast. The installation portal will begin copying the program's files and components to your computer's hard drive. When the process is complete the next prompt will be highlighted.


3. Complete the initial setup for the VCast program. Click on the second prompt that reads, "Setup VCast Music." You will be prompted to confirm your desire to conduct the initial installation process. Click "Next" when the InstallShield Wizard appears in order to begin the process.


4. Follow the prompts regarding the VCast usage agreement, default file folder location, and Window Media Player 10 updates. Click on the "Finish" option when the last screen appears to conclude the initial installation process.


5. Set up Windows Media Player 10. When the InstallShield wizard closes, the Windows Media Player 10 installation portal will open automatically. Choose all of the recommended settings within the Windows Media Player program configuration to expedite the setup process.


6. Click on the third prompt that reads, "Set up VCast Music Skin," once the Windows Media Player 10 portal closes. The VCast Music Skin will configure itself automatically. Once the VCast Music Skin screen closes, the installation process is complete.
